Membership terms

These terms describe Land Uncovered LLC’s membership. Membership availability is shown in your account. Signing in does not buy a membership; sandbox payments are fictional and do not create a paid membership.

What your membership includes

Land Uncovered helps you research U.S. locations using available public-source information, save findings and private notes, compare places and export summaries. Coverage and source dates vary. A location match does not identify a legal parcel boundary or confirm that land is for sale.

Price and renewal

The membership offer is $12 USD per month, plus any applicable tax shown before purchase. Stripe processes payment. Your membership renews monthly until you cancel. Creating a profile alone does not start a subscription. Checkout will show the recurring charge and require your agreement before purchase.

Your research allowance

Membership includes 50 new research attempts per UTC calendar month, with limits of 10 per UTC day and 3 per minute. Unused attempts do not roll over. Billing anniversaries and calendar-month allowance resets can fall on different dates. Running a new check or refreshing a report counts, including when an upstream source cannot return information. Reopening or exporting saved findings and comparing existing scored reports do not count. If Compare creates a missing scored report, that new research uses your allowance; the original findings remain saved.

Shared spending and service safeguards can temporarily pause new research. Please use one account for your own research, keep your sign-in secure, and avoid automated bulk requests, account sharing or attempts to bypass limits. Excessive requests can trigger a temporary pause. Contact us if normal use is being interrupted.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel renewal through Manage membership before the next billing date. Research access continues through the paid period, subject to the allowance and safeguards. A failed renewal pauses new paid research. Your saved findings remain viewable and exportable while your account exists.

For your first month, you may request a refund within seven days of the initial payment by emailing hello@landuncovered.com. The owner reviews each request; a request does not guarantee a refund. Cancellation and refunds are separate actions. This policy does not limit rights you have under applicable law.

Use findings as a starting point

Reports support preliminary research. They are not surveys, title searches, appraisals, environmental determinations, engineering advice or permission to build, use or access land. Before buying or making plans, confirm property identity, access, current conditions and applicable rules with the responsible offices and qualified professionals. An unavailable or incomplete check is an unanswered question, not an assurance that no issue exists.

Your notes and privacy

You keep ownership of your notes and other material you provide. Please only save material you have permission to use, and avoid passwords, financial account details or sensitive information about other people.
